About Our Church
New Hope Bible Fellowship began under under the Pastorial Leadership of James Neidich along with a small group of believers with a desire to serve the Lord with gladness.
On August 20, 2006, 41 souls met at the Crawford Farm on Raspberry Road, in Clymer, Pennsylvania for prayer. Less than one month later on September 24, 49 souls were present when the decision was unanimously made to form a fellowship of believers. On October 1, 2006, we held our first service at the former Hofbräuhaus Restaurant where we rented for the next five years just outside of Indiana across from Airport Road.
Here we continued to grow and learn. We established church trustees, deacons, church clerk, etc. as we continued to be rooted in Jesus. On October 29, 2006 there were 36 signing "charter members" present to formally establish New Hope Bible Fellowship. On November 3, 2006, New Hope Bible Fellowship was officially recognized by the Commonwealth with a PA Tax ID. In January 2009 we identified our fellowship as a corporation in Pennsylvania.
Then in the fall of 2011 God blessed us with the opportunity to purchase the building we now call our church house.
With a lot of hard work and determination, this former bar and restaurant called "The Winner's Lounge" was transformed into a meeting place for believers. It was at this location that we finalized our constitution and by laws, continued to organize our leadership and developed our ministries. In December of 2013, our next Pastor, Aaron Nygren was voted in by membership to take the leadership role.
New Hope Bible Fellowship continues to be a safe, family oriented, Bible reading and teaching, and friendly place to serve the Lord and learn & grow together about His salvation, grace & mercy. Our vision is to reach out to our community and encourage each person to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotton Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
We pray that no matter where you are in life, here you'll find a welcoming spirit at our fellowships. An atmosphere that you'll feel welcomed and not condemned or judged, where you can express your fears and doubts without any negative repercussions. New Hope Bible Fellowship is a place where you can learn about the rich Grace, Mercy, and Hope that can only be found in the person Jesus Christ. Come, worship with us today, we will save a seat for you!
